Product fit
Who DUE is for — and who it isn't
DUE is a web app for independent influencers, talent and UGC creators who manage their own paid brand collaborations. Scout helps you research suitable public creator opportunities and prepare outreach you approve. Then DUE keeps each collab connected from the campaign brief to the invoice and the check that payment arrived.
Bring collaborations from any source: Scout, inbound brand email, existing clients, creator outreach, Outlook, your dedicated DUE collaboration email or manual capture.
Scout is an optional research and qualification function inside DUE, not a requirement for running a collab. Scout never guarantees work; you approve and send every approach yourself.
DUE is likely a good fit if you
- negotiate and run your own paid collabs, without an agency doing the admin;
- want help finding public creator programmes you actually qualify for, or preparing a portfolio before you pitch;
- receive briefs by email, DM or PDF and want them in one record per collab;
- invoice brands or agencies yourself and want to know which invoices are actually due or overdue;
- prefer to review and send everything yourself rather than have software act for you.
DUE is probably not the right tool if you
- want a marketplace where brands find and book you, a media kit or a public storefront;
- expect guaranteed paid work or automatic outreach to brands;
- want brands to pay you through the platform by card or payment link;
- are a brand or agency running influencer campaigns across many creators;
- need full accounting, expenses or team workflows today.
For how DUE compares with tools built for those jobs, see DUE vs Cheerful and Passionfroot. For how Scout works, see Scout for creators.
What DUE does today
- Use Scout to research a curated set of current public creator programmes, see the stated eligibility and where you do or don't meet it, and draft an eligibility enquiry or pitch you approve and send yourself.
- Starting from zero? Scout's beginner path suggests self-initiated portfolio briefs from your interests, strengths, preferred formats and on-camera comfort.
- Check a brief's commercial terms with Brand Deal Commercials before you say yes.
- Capture a campaign brief by pasting text, uploading a PDF, image or screenshot, or typing it in. You review every extracted detail before it is saved.
- Track deliverables, brand approval and go-live dates on each collab.
- Prepare a quote or collaboration agreement from the collab and share it by a secure link that you send. The brand can review and accept without an account.
- Create invoices with your business details and export them as PDF. You send the invoice yourself.
- Import a bank CSV and review suggested matches to invoices. Nothing is marked paid without your confirmation.
- Prepare an editable follow-up draft for an overdue invoice, which you review and send yourself.
Pasted text and uploaded files may be read by an AI model to suggest fields; you confirm them.
Email: what is and isn't available
- Manual paste or upload of a brand email always works.
- You can optionally connect a personal Microsoft Outlook account so DUE can read brand-work email, as explained in the privacy policy.
- Gmail connection is not available to customers.
- A professional DUE brand-work email address is in preparation and is not sending or receiving customer email yet.
Limitations to know before you start
- No marketplace or creator directory, and no brand-matching: brands do not find you through DUE. Scout reads a curated set of public sources, not the whole web, and paid work is not guaranteed.
- No media kit or public storefront.
- No direct bank connection. DUE never moves, holds or processes your clients' money and takes no commission.
- DUE never sends invoices, follow-ups or agreements automatically, and never posts to your social accounts.
- No expenses, full bookkeeping, GST/BAS lodgement, team or agency workspaces yet.
